Manifest

Well, allow us to start by the beginning. But, what are beginnings anyway? Is time a line that moves forward? Or is it just a subjective perception of reality and change?

Anyway, we have a dream. And even if sounds a lot Luther-King like, we do.

We want to build/create/participate in the creation of something bigger than ourselves. Something that looks more like a community. Now, this is where most people start thinking all sorts of crazy things, of the sort: we're all going to live together and share the same rooms. The immediate after-effect carried along by this intrusive thought is people feeling asphyxiated. "I need privacy" "I am a selfish person" (Seriously, we've heard them all).

However, what if we told you that we also like privacy, that we also can be selfish? So let us dive in into what we think of a community.

A physical place in which you can have your own private space, but also a shared space. A place where it is not mandatory to share everything at all times, where you're more than welcome if you want to share, and likewise if you don't. A place where you can trust your neighbours, and they can trust in you. Where not everybody thinks alike, but everybody respects other opinions. A place in which you have a saying, so long respect is at the very base of every communication. Somewhere in which you can be creative, plan forward, create and help maintain a community. Above all things, a place in which you can support others while being supported., and this is when community-based medicine kicks in, a therapeutic place in which you can open yourself up fearless of being judged.

This is kind of like the basis of what we want to build but be aware that it is surely not all, it is, you might say, just the beginning. We want to be around people who share the values of kindness, love, respect and authenticity. Because none of this matters if it is not coming from an authentic you.

What do you say? Care to join us in this fire and start forging our future?
